IBFI introduces Student Information System

ITP News Network Mumbai

Internet Business Factory India (IBFI), the technology and business services company based in Chennai has launched its Student Information System (SIS) a comprehensive Electronic Student Relationship Management platform, that will complement and revolutionise the existing education system in India.

The SIS is designed at integrating the four elements of an educational system - Management, Teachers, Students and Parents. It starts from a simple student portfolio to a complex open communication channel which facilitates synchronisation between the four elements with information and helps institutions be efficient and effective.

Along with the SIS platform, IBFI will provide the following if required — hardware, networking, cabling, internet access, and faculty training, upgrades and continuous support to the educational institution. This whole package is provided free by IBFI — except for a minimum fee payable by all students at the end of every month towards maintenance.

Some of the features of the SIS for Management are:
- Helps management keep track of profiles and performance of all students and teachers in the institutions.
-
Information on the teaching staff, teaching schedules, student attendance and performance records.
-
Provides information about new management policies, fee structure, date of payment, new rules etc.
-
Ability to participate in discussion forums initiated by either the management, student body or teacher.

The SIS is designed to incorporate, bundle and distribute digital content and promote third party e-learning and e-testing suites to its existing features. This would help to keep upgrading the platform, to enable newer technologies to its users, making it the most comprehensive platform to have for an educational institution.
