Mphasis,
a leading provider of software system integration technology
announced the appointment of Sudhir Goel at its vice president,
Bangalore. In this capacity he is in charge of delivery
of projects executed out of its Bangalore development
centres. Announcing the appointment, Jerry Rao, chairman
& CEO, Mphasis said, Sudhirs extensive
experience in managing software development life cycles
and multi-platform enterprise-wide software projects will

based Mistral Software, a provider of professional services
in embedded solutions, announced the appointment of K
Chandrasekhar as the general manager-business development.
Chandrasekhar joins Mistral after serving as AGM-business
development, U & I Scotty. He has a successful record
of over 13 years in handling business development, business
strategy, operations management and project management
portfolios for major IT and semiconductor companies.
He also brings to Mistral his extensive experience of
the European and Asian markets. Chandrasekhar has a Masters
in Science & Technology from Birla Institute of Technology
& Science (BITS), Pilani and PG Diploma in Marketing
Management from Annamalai University. SM Ahmed, president
and CEO-Mistral Software, says, We are very happy
to have Chandrasekar onboard. His experience in the embedded
and telecom market will boost our penetration in the European
and Asian markets. |
Adobe
India has appointed Arvind Jha as the director of engineering
for their Indian operations. In his new role, Jha would
be responsible for find ing ways to strengthen and grow
the Indian campus through further ownership of existing
products, new product prototypes and increased role in
quality engineering. He would also be looking at establishing
technology development initiatives with the IITs.
Prior to this, Jha was working as an engineering manager
with Adobe India and was responsible as the team leader
of engineers working on core Adobe applications such as
InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, GoLive, and FrameMaker
among others. He is a graduate from IIT Kharagpur, majoring
in Computer Science & Engineering. This year he conceptualised
an update for PageMaker and led the engineering and quality
team that shipped PageMaker 7.0, the first world-class
desktop product to have been completely engineered in
India. He attributes his success to his team and believes
in hands-on leadership, mutual trust and respect. |
