Tata Infotech Education organises MindSpan Level II

Tata Infotech Education (TIES) recently organised ‘MindSpan Level II’ for students who are undergoing career programs like G-Tech. The program is conducted by the senior management of TIES who invest 200 man-days of time every year in training the students on business and behavioural skills, personality development, interpersonal skills, customer orientation, values, business ethics and related topics to help them succeed in their future careers.

Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Thapan, Head-education services division, Tata Infotech, said, “One of the values that we practice as a part of the Tata Group is to contribute to society, and its continuous development. We believe that our country can reach greater heights, only if we invest in the development of our younger generation. So in addition to providing a solid foundation of technical concepts in IT, we provide 360 degrees learning by investing in the business Skills of our students so that they get that extra edge and have a better and brighter future career.”

MindSpan Level II is organised for existing Tata Infotech Education students with a view to provide a realistic perspective of the IT industry and the career options available to them. The purpose of this program is to enable students to prepare themselves better for a professional career in the corporate world.

MindSpan Level II is a 20-hour program conducted over 10 sessions of 2 hours each at all the locations where Tata Infotech has premier training centres (PTC) across India, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Kolkata, Jaipur, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai among others.

It is understood that for this year, the program is expected to benefit more than 1000 students spread over 42 batches. Mindspan is generally conducted at three levels.
