NIIT
launched a training programme on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003
software, the day the software was launched. NIIT aims to train
more than 5,000 IT professionals and over 10,000 students in the
next few months.
Rajendra
Pawar, the chairman of NIIT said, By coinciding the launch
of Win 03 training with the worldwide launch of the software,
we are keeping our tradition to offer training on the freshest technologies
first. Our association with Microsoft over the years has helped
us understand Microsoft technologies and platforms better. This
in turn has enabled us to develop the right training solutions and
skilled manpower on a real-time basis.
Speaking
on NIITs training initiative, Rajiv Kaul, the managing director
of Microsoft Corporation India said, NIIT has been a trusted
training partner since the early days, and has seen our product
line evolve over the years. We are confident that NIIT will help
bridge the skills gap, and cement the success of Windows Server
2003.
NIITs
new introductory programme for Windows 2003 Server is an eight-hour
programme, including four hours of interactive classroom learning
covering key concepts and features, using a case study approach.
The balance time will be spent in a convenient e-learning mode using
NIITs digital content and services from Netvarsity.com. This
programme will be available at a special launch fee of Rs 595, at
NIIT centres, across the country.

has been consistently bagging Microsofts Best Training Partner
Award. It was recently awarded Microsofts CTEC Solutions Award
for preparing quality software manpower, for the fourth consecutive
year.
