International .Net Association (INETA)
India launched a speaker bureau initiative at a recent organised
Microsoft Mumbai User Group meeting. This provides INETA India user
groups an opportunity to get high profile speakers for its user
group meetings at no cost. INETA India manages the selection and
allocation of speakers to the various user groups.

The speaker bureau has been launched with
five speakers. Each have regularly spoken at various technology
conferences across the country and have continuously been responsible
for initiating and inspiring many aspiring software developers.
Each of the speakers would be providing their travel schedules to
INETA India, which will arrange speaking opportunities at various
user group meetings.
Sixty Mumbai user group members attended
the launch. Satish Kamat, Microsoft India architect evangelist launched
the speaker bureau. The message from Microsoft stated: Developers
are most cherished by Microsoft. Communities which foster them are
equally important to Microsoft. Internationally Microsoft is actively
supporting the user group activity in India along with INETA.
Sanjay Shetty, INETA India Committee member,
said, A milestone has been reached in terms of the maturity
and growth of user group initiatives supported by INETA. The INETA
India speaker bureau is a key factor to encourage user group growth
across India. Shetty is the CEO of Wireless Strategist &
Consultants (India), and also a Microsoft MSDN regional director.
Other members of the speaker bureau are Dr Nitin Paranjape, Sanjay
Vyas, T N C Venkata Rangan and Vinod Unny.
