Premji conferred with honoris causa doctorate by IIT, Roorkee
Azim Premji, chairman of Wipro, was recently conferred with
the honoris causa degree of Doctor of Engineering by the Indian
Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Prof. S K Joshi, chairman,
board of governors-IIT Roorkee conferred the honour on Premji
in the presence of the president of India, Dr A P J Abdul
Kalam.

to organise 38th National Convention at IIT, Delhi
The 38th CSI National Convention 2003, will be held at the
IIT, New Delhi, from December 11-13, 2003. Orga-nised by the
Computer Society of India (CSI), the mega event will be attended
by over 1,200 professionals and delegates.
